You could do a thousand hours of web surfing, book reading, and escort site lurking, and STILL not get a grasp of this industry. Just like anything else you do in life, you got to get your feet wet.
It’s like working at McDonalds; you could shadow your trainer for months and not learn anything. It takes getting behind that cash register, the grill, and waiting on customers. That’s when you’re actually learning and not lurking. Same principle applies with escorting.
This industry is basically 70% trial and error and all of your experiences as an escort will be custom to you. There are a few things that are universal to all escorts like the rules, regulations, and laws, but each individual experience is custom to each girl.
Example- Many girls tour non-stop, city to city to make their income, and for some girls, touring is a waste of time and money. It all depends on the girl.
See what advertising trends work for you. Maybe Eros is where you’ll get 90% of your clients. I got nothing from Eros, so that was $75.00 wasted for me. But for you, it could be a gold mine. Try it!
Test, Trial and Error…
Don’t be afraid to ask for help, but also be ready to not receive any. Many escorts are very tight lipped when it comes to helping a fellow newbie, so don’t get offended. I remember when I first got into the business and I asked a Vet escort for some advice, and her response to me was; “Sorry Sweetheart, you got to learn this business by yourself”.
But no matter what anyone says, you don’t lean this business by yourself. Every successful escort has another escort to thank for her success. Think about it.
-Without other escorts, you can’t get references
-Without other escorts you wouldn’t have black lists
-Without other escorts you wouldn’t know the laws and regulations
-Without other escorts you wouldn’t have white lists
So don’t ever think you are alone. If you have any questions, just ask!
Good Luck!

The trial and error thing is great for learning the little things about advertising, pleasing clients, and the like but for safety its too hard to learn from bad mistakes. It's a hard rule to keep, but when in doubt, say no. You can fix that kind of mistake later. I find most ladies are more than willing to help in screening if they know you're legit, they have seen the client in the last year or so, and you give them the right info.
